Editing

 This is the editing for my groups project

first i aligned the clips together and picked out the song

i went with Can I call you rose by thee sacred souls. I aligned the texts so that it appears on beat with the intro of the music. 

for the coloring of the clips, i added a combination of filters and adjusted the brightness, exposure, highlights, temperatures. for around half an hour, i researched in tiktok to find inspiration for color grading to get the atmosphere that i am aiming for. I took inspiration from a video in tiktok.

for the last section of the audio, i wanted to make it muffled. However, it requires capcut pro which i do not want to buy, so i screen recorded the audio, then replaced the original audio with the screen recorded one. 

for the font i had to experiment with different fonts and i decided to use the first one as it gives off more of a retro old tv vibe. The decision to put end credits is my idea. although most ads do not have end credits, i want our project to stand out and look further more like a film.

Self Reflection: Kudos to Maxine again for doing the editing, it was first meant to be done by Bamz and Alex, but the group just changed our mind because I think at the end hers was much better, so big up Maxine, I truly have to thank all our editors though, I have absolutely ZERO experience in it, except from moments I edited poorly made videos, so thanks to them.
